should re-consider your visit to the other Atlantic Provinces. Fishermen from Nova Scotia, PEI, and Quebec also participate in the hunt. It would be unfair to our great province if you boycotted it solely. Do it right, boycott the whole lot!”

Exercise your consumer power for seals!
Every dollar lost to sealing communities and businesses is a vote against the seal slaughter. Tell the people of Newfoundland that you vote “NO” to the seal hunt. Share your thoughts with those who need your business through personalized emails. Politely let these people know that you won’t be patronizing their region/business until the slaughter ends. Encourage them to protect their economic interests by telling their governments and the sealing industry to stop the hunt, or risk ongoing boycotts of their region.
Stopping the carnage is as easy as clicking Send. Here’s what you can do right now:
- Scroll down to enter your email's subject. ex. “Tourism Boycott”.
- Next, enter your email’s content ex. “I will not be spending my tourist dollars in Newfoundland until the seal slaughter is history”. Click Submit.
- A list of business links will appear. Click on the first business link. Click Send. Follow the same steps for the remainder of the business links.
- Next, Click here to access the "boycott database". This takes you to other provinces who participate in the seal slaughter, as well as targets in Norway. Repeat the above steps, tailoring your subject header and message to suit the location.
